"Pets for Pride" Parade

Lineup begins at 9:40am. Parade and event kickoff starts at 10:00am. Registration is free, but a 50/50 raffle at the SOCU booth will be taking donations for Pet Project the whole day!

Ottawa Pride Choir

Pride Festival Drag Show

Magnolia Dance Collective

The Magnolia Dance Collective is a FCBD® dance troupe that has delighted audiences all over the state of Illinois, and will be bringing their unique and beautiful style of performance to the Family Pride Festival. Check them out on Facebook here!

Drag Story Hour

Be Proud to Stop Bullying
4:15pm to 5:00pm
Join Karli Johnson for an engaging and fun anti-bullying program for kids and adults of all ages. Learn how to stop bullying, get support, and embrace your unique, beautiful self! The first 40 people to attend get a free Pride inspirational notebook and pencil gift set sponsored by Prairie Fox Books. Learn more about this event here!

Open Space Kids Create Tent will have a free craft for kids to do in Washington Square Park from 11:00am to 4:00pm!

There will be free face painting & a make-and-take craft for kids in Washington Square Park provided by Diane Martin, who will also be taking donations to help the Safe House Animal Rescue League of Mendota!

Circus Performer Ky Chameleon will be doing face painting, balloon animals and more in Washington Park!
​

The Ice Queen will be in Washington Park from 12:00pm to 3:00pm for pictures, autographs, and coronation ceremonies! There will even be temporary tattoos and coronation gifts available for $5 each, all courtesy of Caitlyn's Ever After LLC!

Two panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be hosted for viewing during the Pride Festival at Open Table UCC Ottawa at 910 Columbus Street. These two panels are an incredible tribute to just some of the over 100,000 individuals represented on the 35-year-old Memorial in its entirety, which documents lives lost to AIDS.
